1. What are the different types of dashboards available in nOps?
nOps offers three types of dashboards:
- Private: Accessible only to the user who created them.
- Shared: Visible to everyone in the organization, ideal for collaborative use.
- nOps Global: Pre-built, read-only dashboards provided by nOps to cover common reporting needs.
2. How can I add widgets to a dashboard?
Click on "Select Report" in the dashboard view, choose a report from either the Default or Showback View, configure parameters (e.g., date range, cost type, granularity), and click Save to add the widget.
3. Can I rearrange the order of widgets on a dashboard?
Yes, you can reorder widgets using drag-and-drop functionality, allowing you to prioritize key reports and insights based on your needs.
4. What actions can I perform on a widget?
Widgets support several actions:
- Redirect: Navigate to the Cost Analysis page for the selected report.
- Edit: Update the report or parameters displayed in the widget.
- Delete: Remove the widget from the dashboard.
5. How can I share a dashboard with others in my organization?
You can create a Shared dashboard by selecting the Shared visibility option during dashboard creation. Additionally, you can generate a shareable URL using the Copy URL option.

Delete:
- Permanently remove the dashboard.
Adding a New Dashboard

Click the "Add Dashboard" button located at the top-right corner of the page.

Enter the required details in the pop-up:

Dashboard Name: Provide a unique and descriptive name.

Dashboard Type: Currently, only "General" is available.

Visibility:

Private: Personal use only.

Shared: Visible to the organization.

Click Save to create the dashboard.
Navigating to a Dashboard

Click on a dashboard name in the Dashboard List Page to open it.

The dashboard opens with an option to add widgets by clicking on the "Select Report" button.
Adding Widgets to a Dashboard
Steps to Add a Widget:

Click on "Select Report" to add a widget.

Choose a report from the views:

Default View

Select the type of report within the chosen view.

Configure basic parameters such as (optional):

Date Range: Adjust the time period for the report.

Cost Type: Choose from options like blended or unblended.

Granularity: Select the desired view, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

Click Save to add the widget or Cancel to exit without saving.

Working with Widgets
Features of Widgets:

You can add multiple widgets to a dashboard to display various reports and insights simultaneously.
