Getting Started
To begin your migration assessment with nOps Discovery:
- Install the Agentless Data Collector
- Request a License Key from the nOps platform
- Configure the collector with your credentials and target systems
- Allow data collection to run for at least 7 days (14 days recommended)
- Follow the workflow steps in your nOps dashboard
Security & Compliance
nOps Discovery is designed with security as a top priority:
- Local Data Storage: All telemetry is stored locally first for review
- Human-Readable Format: Data is stored in JSON format for easy inspection
- Air-Gap Support: For highly sensitive environments, data can be transferred offline
- Regular Uploads: Data is securely transmitted to nOps every 15 minutes (configurable)
- HTTPS Encryption: All data transfers use TLS 1.2+ encryption
