Getting Started

To begin your migration assessment with nOps Discovery:

  1. Install the Agentless Data Collector
  2. Request a License Key from the nOps platform
  3. Configure the collector with your credentials and target systems
  4. Allow data collection to run for at least 7 days (14 days recommended)
  5. Follow the workflow steps in your nOps dashboard

Security & Compliance

nOps Discovery is designed with security as a top priority:

  • Local Data Storage: All telemetry is stored locally first for review
  • Human-Readable Format: Data is stored in JSON format for easy inspection
  • Air-Gap Support: For highly sensitive environments, data can be transferred offline
  • Regular Uploads: Data is securely transmitted to nOps every 15 minutes (configurable)
  • HTTPS Encryption: All data transfers use TLS 1.2+ encryption
