PagerDuty Integration


Overview

The PagerDuty integration allows nOps to send security audit trails to your PagerDuty service. These audit trails are generated whenever changes occur in violations of nOps security best practices. By integrating PagerDuty, you can stay informed about important updates in real time.


Steps to Integrate PagerDuty

Step 1: Create a New Service in PagerDuty

  1. Log in to your PagerDuty account.

  2. Navigate to Configuration → Services → New Service.

  3. Create a new service as shown below:

  4. Once the service is created, click on New Integration to add a new integration to the service:

  5. This step will generate a new API key required for the nOps integration. Save this key for the next steps:


Step 2: Configure PagerDuty Integration in nOps

  1. Log in to your nOps account.

  2. Navigate to the Organization Settings page by clicking on your logged-in name and selecting the Organization Settings icon.

  3. On the Organization Settings page, select the Integrations tab.

  4. Select Notifications in the Integrations page and locate and click on PagerDuty from the list of available integrations.

  5. Enter the PagerDuty Integration Key generated in Step 1 into the provided field:

  6. Click Save to finalize the integration setup.
