Tracking is the read-only view of what your AI actually costs: daily spend and token volume, broken down by model and by platform, with a per-model detail pane and a full Explorer scoped to AI spend.
Tracking needs no seat tracking project. It works as soon as an AI provider or cloud integration is sending spend.

Get started

  1. Sign in to nOps.
  2. In the sidebar, open AI → Tracking, or go to clara.nops.io/ai-optimization/tracking.
  3. Pick a date range in the top right. The choice flows through every card, chart, and table on the page.
The page has up to two views, Model Overview and AI Explorer, shown as tabs. Each is enabled separately for your organization, so if only one is available you land on it directly with no tabs.

Model Overview

Model usage summary

Four cards summarize the selected period: If a platform is missing because you have not connected it yet, the Platforms card offers to connect it inline.

Spend & budget by client

Model usage spend sits next to seat budget targets for the period. Expand a client row to see its projects and per-integration actuals. This is most useful if you manage several organizations.

Charts

  • Daily model usage — spend and token volume day by day across the period.
  • Platform token mix — each provider’s share of the period’s token volume.

Spend and tokens by model

The main table ranks models for the period: Sort by Spend or Tokens, search by model or platform name, filter to a single platform with the tabs above the table, and use Export CSV to pull the filtered list out.

Model details

Click any model to open a detail pane beside the table. It has five sections: Drag the pane’s left edge to widen it.

Viewing several organizations

If you administer more than one organization, a View usage for selector appears next to the date filter. Choose All portfolios for a combined roll-up or pick a single organization. Organizations you do not administer are named in a notice below the header and excluded from the roll-up. This is part of Portfolio Portal — see Portfolio Portal for the full picture, including how portfolios are set up and which pages currently support it.

AI Explorer

AI Explorer (?view=explorer) is the full nOps Explorer pre-scoped to AI spend. Everything Explorer can do — grouping, filtering, charting, saving a report — works here, without you having to build the AI filter each time. Use Model Overview to answer “where is the money going”, and AI Explorer when you need a slice Model Overview does not offer.

FAQs

Any AI platform nOps has spend for, including your connected seat providers and model spend arriving through a cloud integration such as Amazon Bedrock.
Model Overview and AI Explorer are enabled independently. When only one is on, the tab strip is hidden and that view fills the page.
Choose from the presets or set a custom range. Custom ranges are capped at roughly a year, so Last 12 months and Year to date both fit.
Yes. The range is written to the URL, so a link reproduces exactly what you were looking at.
