Overview

Clara is the AI assistant built into nOps. Instead of a separate chat page, Clara travels with you — available as a quick panel on several pages, and as a full overlay on Canvas.

Where to find Clara

On Canvas, Clara opens as a full overlay with its own layout and shortcuts — see Clara AI on canvas for details on that experience, including @ mentions for data sources and widgets.

Asking Clara a question

Wherever you open it, Clara works the same way:
  1. Type your question in the composer — about spend, trends, commitment management, or anything else in your connected cost data.
  2. Clara responds in plain language, and can generate charts or tables inline when a visual makes the answer clearer.
  3. Keep the conversation going — Clara remembers the context of your session as you ask follow-up questions.
Suggested prompts appear when you open Clara with an empty conversation, to help you get started if you’re not sure what to ask.
