Explorer Dashboard gives your team a flexible place to view, monitor, and analyze key cost metrics. Combine saved Explorer reports into one live dashboard your team can revisit anytime—without rebuilding filters from scratch each week.
In the sidebar this feature appears as Dashboards under Inform. It is separate from your home Dashboard, which shows account-wide spend and pinned Canvas widgets.

Tabs

Actions on the list

From the dashboard list menu you can:
  • Copy URL — share a direct link to the dashboard
  • Edit — change name or visibility
  • Clone — duplicate a dashboard (optionally constrain the copy to a Cost Allocation showback and values)
  • Delete — permanently remove a dashboard
Each dashboard card also shows a category badge alongside its visibility, so you can scan the list for the type of dashboard you’re looking for. Use Search dashboards to filter by name.

Create a dashboard

  1. Click Create dashboard.
  2. Enter a descriptive name.
  3. Choose visibility:
    • Private — personal use or experiments before sharing
    • Shared — visible to everyone in your organization
    • Global — available to all nOps customers (when your role allows)
  4. Save, then open the dashboard to add widgets.

Add widgets

  1. Open a dashboard and click Add Widget.
  2. Pick a saved Explorer report from Private, Shared, or Global tabs (same libraries as Reports).
  3. Confirm the selection. Each widget shows the report’s chart and summary cards.
  4. Add multiple widgets to compare different views side by side.
If you have no saved reports yet, create one in Explorer first. A dashboard with no widgets yet shows You have not selected any report yet, with a Select Report button if you have edit access.

Work with widgets

Each widget displays:
  • Summary cards (Yesterday, MTD, Total—based on the report’s settings)
  • History chart or heat map for the linked report (whichever view was saved on the report)
  • The report name as the widget title

Widget actions

When you can edit the dashboard: Anyone who can view the dashboard can open View parameters and Refresh. Drag-and-drop reordering is available when you have edit access.
Widget Edit saves overrides on the dashboard widget only — the underlying Explorer report is unchanged. End dates in the future append a forecast (dashed bars) beyond yesterday’s last complete day. To point a widget at a different report, use Replace report. Each dashboard can hold up to 50 widgets.

Share with your team

  • Create a Shared dashboard so everyone in your organization sees the same layout.
  • Use Copy URL on the dashboard list to send a direct link.
  • Combine with scheduled report emails when stakeholders prefer inbox delivery over visiting a dashboard.
